About Encourageville

Encourageville.com is an independent merchandise brand celebrating Black American history and culture, operated by Indira Williams, based in Illinois. All products are designed by Encourageville and produced through print-on-demand partners.

By accessing this site or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Made-to-order products

Every Encourageville product is made to order — printed specifically for you when your order is placed. Because of this custom production process:

We do not accept returns or exchanges for incorrect size or color selections, or for change-of-mind reasons
Please review sizing charts carefully before ordering
Minor variations in print placement of up to ½ inch are within normal production tolerance and are not considered defects

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

We stand behind every product we sell. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or with a printing error, we will make it right.

Contact us within 30 days of delivery at info@encourageville.com with your order number and a clear photo of the issue. We are your first point of contact for all order problems.

Depending on the issue, resolution may include a free reprint or a refund. You do not need to return the damaged item.

Shipping & delivery

Orders are fulfilled by our print-on-demand partners, Printify and Printful, and shipped directly to you. Estimated production and shipping times are provided at checkout and are estimates only — they are not guaranteed delivery dates.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout
Orders returned due to an incorrect address may be reshipped at your expense
Lost packages must be reported within 30 days of the estimated delivery date

Pricing & payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. Payment is collected at the time of purchase through secure third-party processors. We do not store your payment card information.

Sales tax is applied where required by law based on your shipping address.

Intellectual property

All designs, artwork, graphics, copy, and content on Encourageville.com are the original creative work of Encourageville and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use any Encourageville design or content for commercial purposes without express written permission.

Products purchased from Encourageville are for personal use only. Resale or commercial reproduction of our designs is strictly prohibited.

Accuracy of historical content

Encourageville celebrates the real legacies of Black American historical figures. We make every effort to ensure that names, dates, and biographical information featured on our products and site are accurate. If you believe any information is in error, we welcome your feedback at info@encourageville.com.

Limitation of liability

Encourageville's liability for any order is limited to the purchase price of that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or products purchased here.

We make no warranties beyond what is stated in these terms and applicable law.

Third-party services

This site is built on Wix and fulfillment is handled by Printify and Printful. By using this site and placing orders, you also agree to be subject to the terms of these third-party platforms. We are not responsible for their independent policies or practices.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from your use of this site or your purchases shall be resolved in the courts of Illinois.

Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
